Engine Overview

This remanufactured Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler 4.7L (287 CI) V8 SOHC engine is rebuilt to meet OEM standards, featuring a 16-tooth reluctor ring on the crank. Each unit requires a refundable core deposit of $700, which must be returned within 30 days to receive core credit.

Build Quality & Components

Every long block includes the cylinder heads and valve train installed, built using components such as new Sivoilite pistons, Hastings rings, SA timing gears and chain, Melling oil pump, and Victor/Rock/Big 3 gasket set. Blocks, heads, crankshafts, and connecting rods are thoroughly cleaned, shot-peened, magnafluxed, bored, honed, ground, and polished according to OEM specifications.

This long block comes with a 1-year unlimited-mileage parts-only warranty for passenger cars and light trucks up to 1/2 ton. Shipping is available one-way to a business address with a loading dock or forklift within the lower 48 states.
