Description of long blocks.
All long blocks come with cylinder head(s) attached and valve train installed. Valve
covers, timing cover, and oil pan
are not included.
All long blocks have, lifters, camshaft, timing chain (belt), timing gears, valve
guides ,three angle cut seats, cam, rod and main
bearings, pistons, piston rings, rod bushings (if applicable), gaskets and oil pump.
All cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts and connecting rods are cleaned and
shot peened and magnafluxed for cracks. All
bolt holes are tapped.
All oil galleys are hand brushed with white cleaning brushes and cylinders are hand
cleaned with cleaning solution .
Cylinder heads have seats cut three angle. After assembly, heads are vacuum
checked for valve seating.
Crankshafts are ground and polished . Each oil galley is hand brushed .
All connecting rods are honed.

1. Professionally Remanufactured Chevy 4.3L Long Block
This remanufactured Chevy/GMC 262 CI (4.3L) long block engine is designed for 2000–2007 models and optimized for propane and CNG forklift applications. Built under thirty years of engine rebuilding expertise, the long block includes the cylinder heads already attached for easier installation. Components such as the valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan are not included, but the engine arrives fully assembled with all essential internal parts for reliable performance.
2. Precision Cleaning, Inspection & Machining
Each long block undergoes a complete remanufacturing procedure in which all cylinder blocks, heads, crankshafts, and connecting rods are cleaned, shot-peened, and magnaflux-tested for cracks. Bolt holes are re-tapped, oil passages are hand-brushed, and cylinders are cleaned thoroughly for proper lubrication flow. The heads are cut with precise three-angle valve seats and vacuum-tested after assembly. Crankshafts are ground and polished, and all connecting rods are professionally honed to restore optimal fit and strength.
3. OEM-Grade Components & Rebuild Standards
This Chevy 4.3L 262 reman engine is assembled using new USA-made Sivolite pistons, Hastings rings, SA Gear timing components, and a new Melling oil pump. Gaskets are replaced with premium Victor or Big 3 gasket sets, while cylinder heads are CNC surfaced for accuracy. Blocks are bored, cylinders honed, camshafts hardened and ground to OEM specifications, and connecting rods resized to meet original equipment tolerances. The result is a high-quality long block that meets or exceeds OEM performance expectations.
